Tomato Basil Soup

Put in crockpot:

 2 cans diced tomatoes 
1 can tomato sauce
4 cups chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
1 tsp Minced onion
1 tsp garlic
2 Tbsp lightly dried Basil
Salt & pepper

Cook 4 hours on low. 

Make a roux:
3 Tbsp butter
1/4 cup flour
1 cup heavy cream

Add roux and 2 cups or parmesan to slow cooker. Cook 30 more minutes.

If you want you can immersion blender the soup before serving.
